La Strada sur Angers

It's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner at La Strada whenever I'm in Angers. The pizzas are delicious, and there's something for everyone in terms of recipes. Some people only care about size… those people should go to American chains and choke on their 28cm cardboard pizzas 🙄 🍕Here, everything is homemade, with a delicious crust, generously topped with tasty, high-quality ingredients. We love the retro and authentic atmosphere of the place. The owner is super friendly, as is the waiter who takes excellent care of his customers. A must-try in Angers. If you're going to eat at one place, it's definitely this one.

The best pizzas in Angers, Maine-et-Loire, and the world! I gave them the maximum 5 stars, so it doesn't get any better than this. The owner is very professional and has a great sense of humor. The service is very friendly. 5/5 value for money. Bread is warm from the oven. A single, homemade, and fresh dish. What else, George and Jean? Even the coffee and the gourmet coffee are amazing! The owner is over 75 years old and makes your pizzas with his eyes closed. Come one, come all, he's tireless, this young old man!

Pizzas just the way we like them: generously topped and reasonably priced. A warm, old-fashioned atmosphere. We were looking for dough balls to make homemade pizzas for a weekend getaway, and they even gave them to us for free! Long live this wonderful neighborhood pizzeria, and thank you to the owners.

A simple but friendly welcome, vintage decor, and an intimate, calm atmosphere. The food (calzone) is tasty and hearty, and the dessert is generous. Excellent value for money; I recommend it for a simple meal and a good appetite.

A lovely find in Angers for a spontaneous family dinner. The setting was very pleasant, and the staff were just as friendly.

To be fair we are not huge Pizza fans but on this freezing cold night this Pizzeria looked most inviting. What a great choice. The choice was amazing. My wife had the scallop pizza (never seen this before) and I had the goats cheese with honey. Both were delicious. A crisp green salad and a nice red wine set off an excellent evening.

I've been to this restaurant three times. The prices are competitive and the value for money is excellent. And above all, the atmosphere of a small, family-run restaurant is very pleasant and well-executed. This is also thanks to the team of three men who run the restaurant; they are very friendly.
