La Suite sur Perpignan

While looking for a local spot away from the tourist traps, I found La Suite, and what a delightful surprise. The colorful, inviting interior felt like stepping into someone’s warm, welcoming home. The lunch menu was fantastic. I had the split pea soup, which was rich and comforting, followed by beautifully seasoned eggplant caviar paired with a great glass of wine recommended by the staff. French, English and a little Spanish is spoken. For dessert, the chocolate coulant cake was absolutely heavenly, warm, decadent, and perfectly gooey in the center. La Suite is exactly the kind of authentic, heartfelt restaurant you hope to find when traveling. I left feeling genuinely nourished and can’t wait to come back someday. If you’re in Perpignan and want a meal that feels like home, this little gem is a must visit.
