La Symphonie des Plaisirs sur Le Beausset

Lovely wine cave in Le Beausset, in of all things a converted hangar. We found it by chance looking to do some wine tasting at one of the wineries near Le Castellet. However, this cave/restaurant is a true find. Run by ex-sommelier/chef Benoit & his equally knowledgeable & approachable associate, Benjamin, you can easily while away a few hours trying lovely local & regional wines, over a sumptuous lunch or just cheese & bread. I had a delightful Asian/style raviole w/shrimp, fresh herbs & thin noodles in a salad style plate, covered by a paper thin spring roll wrapper. It was basically a deconstructed spring roll for two. My companion had homemade foie gras w/ an Apple/pear/onion chutney. Amazing. This was followed by a perfectly cooked duck breast w/ a polenta style potato garni and a salmon ceviche for my wife w/ a reduced langoustine sauce. Just lovely. The simple au jus for the duck was sublime. Excellent food & service. The wine recommendations were spot in and not at all expensive. It was our second visit in 4 days and the best food we’ve had in Sanary-Sur-Mer.

I didn't know this place at all, but I'll definitely be back!! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The service is impeccable, and the food is delicious. The octopus and the nougat glacé were absolutely divine. Kudos to the whole team! An establishment where everything is perfect, from the service to the kitchen, is rare, so it deserves to be highlighted 😄

What a wonderful discovery! We had an absolutely exceptional evening at Plaisirs Divins. Everything was absolutely perfect: a warm welcome, impeccable service, dishes as beautiful as they were delicious, and perfectly selected wines to complement the meal. Every detail contributed to making this evening an unforgettable moment. A huge thank you to the entire team for their professionalism, kindness, and passion. We will return without hesitation and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!
