La Table sur Assignan

An exceptional culinary experience at La Table de Castigno! This gourmet restaurant nestled in the heart of the village of Assignan was a real discovery. The proposed menu was a journey for the senses: each dish, prepared with local ingredients, surprised us with its inventiveness and exquisite flavors. The combinations of tastes were sublime and the presentation of the dishes was very careful. Special mention for the dish in 3 preparations of Mediterranean Amberjack which combined bold flavors with incredible finesse. The atmosphere of the dining room, with its refined decor and garden view, perfectly complemented the dining experience. The food and wine pairing proposed by the sommelier was also perfect, allowing us to discover local wines that went perfectly with the dishes. Small negative point, the butler's service unfortunately did not match the quality of the cuisine. It lacked friendliness and attention, which somewhat contrasted with the professionalism of the rest of the team and the refinement of the establishment. A small downside which, I hope, will be improved in the future so that the experience is truly perfect. I highly recommend La Table de Castigno to all food lovers looking for a unique experience. We will undoubtedly come back to relive this magical moment. Congratulations again to Justine & Stephan!

Excellent experiences with the Table, this is my 2nd visit and I have never been disappointed! Thank you to Chefs Stephan Paroche and Justine Viano for their professionalism and perfection in this area. The sommelier is very professional and very involved in the choice of alcohol and drinks. A small negative point is the butler where he was non-existent in the middle and end of the meal.

Invited for my birthday, we had a lovely time and a wonderful culinary journey, it was an explosion of flavors with original crockery and cutlery, the kitchen open to the room allows you to see the artists at work in a symphony without false notes. After preparing the dish, the chef or the waiters explain the origin and tone of the dish. For my part, the Catalan-style mussels were a sublime dish, with perfect accuracy and balance. Having asked for gluten-free, we we had several homemade breads, thank you for this great experience

I've eaten here several times now. The location and atmosphere are great. But they need to improve the service quality and rethink the portion control. I've also eaten several times at the Thai restaurant next door and at La Table, it's Michelin-starred neighbour. Both are better.

While passing through this superb village, we went for lunch in this magnificent restaurant. In opening remarks I would say that the staff is very friendly and very professional. The chef comes to explain his dishes to you with passion. The dishes are very well prepared, the flavors are present, it's a festival for the taste buds, great art on the plates, colorful and flowery presentations..... An excellent time.... a real journey into a world of flavors... The only small downside is that the wines from the Castigno estate are not up to the level of excellence of the dishes offered by our host....In addition, there is a lack of parking for a luxury establishment. this guy.

Occitan tasting menu with products from the land that we have enjoyed...curious but good combinations....such as veal accompanied by oysters....The kitchen is spectacular, visible, super functional, and elegant and clean. .a kitchen dream. Fantastic chef and team!
