La Table Alsacienne sur Farebersviller

Longtime customers We moved 4 years ago, and while passing through our region, we returned to this restaurant we love. And now there's a change of ownership, decor, and waiters. Everything is cold, even the welcome. We sat down, and my 17-year-old son, who is 1.80 meters tall, had his wine glass taken away immediately without being asked. The entire service was slow and impersonal. Luckily, the chef and the menu haven't changed; they're still just as good. Dessert arrived, and my son, as always, chose a rum baba, but it wasn't to the waitress's (owner's?) liking it. She made it clear that it wasn't normal for him to choose that dessert. The waiter poured the rum and left with the bottle. This same waitress came back and asked us where the bottle was because it's supposed to stay on the table! We told her the waiter had taken it, and she insisted he hadn't. We pointed out that we hadn't stolen it, so she went to check the cupboard to see if the bottle was there. When we left, she asked if everything was alright, we explained what we hadn't liked, and she denied everything... our son seemed to be 13 years old, which he wasn't at all... and all of this was perfectly normal. So, despite the good food, we won't be back. We missed the previous owners.

I went there for lunch today for my grandpa's 80th birthday! 🎂 They sang "Happy Birthday" to him! It was absolutely delicious. We had vol-au-vents, and they filled them with the sauce—it's a fantastic concept! We'd already been there last June. I highly recommend it! A beautiful restaurant, and so nicely decorated for Christmas! 🎅🏼🎄

Very good, quiet hotel with a very good à la carte menu offering excellent value for money.

We had a wonderful time enjoying sauerkraut, baeckoffe, and vol-au-vent (serves 4). The staff, the service, the wine—everything was perfect. One minor drawback...parking.

Good evening. The meal was very good and plentiful. The setting was pleasant and the waitresses were attentive. I will return.

A family dinner where two out of three guests were either satisfied or very satisfied with their meals. Only the sauerkraut seemed a bit bland to me, both in terms of taste and the meat. Two servers came to our table and were professional, even adding a touch of humor. The waitress, between forgetting things and "throwing" the menu cards on the table at the crucial moment of welcoming us, will not leave us with the best impression. We might come back to try other dishes.

The staff and cuisine were top-notch, worthy of their 3 stars; frankly, nothing to say but compliments.

The meal was excellent, no complaints, but the wooden chairs without cushions become uncomfortable after a while.

Excellent traditional cuisine. Hearty meals and very pleasant staff. The giant rum baba is absolutely divine.
