We found this fabulous restaurant by accident. We wanted somewhere near our stopover hotel after a long drive. I think they were fully booked but very kindly gave us a table just as they opened on a very busy Saturday evening. The staff were really friendly, had a great sense of humour and calmly dealt with a packed restaurant. The food was delicious; a wide range of choice to be had and it arrived piping hot. The desserts were something else! My husband ordered profiteroles and they were huge! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the atmosphere and would love to visit again. Thank you so much to all the staff there for making our visit so enjoyable.

Het positieve, het was één van de weinige restaurants die open was. Daarnaast was het eten prima en was de bediening vriendelijk en gastvrij. Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken..

De passage dans la région, restaurant bien placé sur notre route et d'une très bonne qualité. Les burgers et desserts que nous avons mangés, étaient une tuerie. Vraiment bravo à la cuisine car il y a longtemps que nous n'avions pas dégusté de si bons burgers. Allez y sans hésiter 👍

01/10/2024: Rental of a room for a Birthday. To begin with, a superb welcome from the manager. Undecided, we visited the place twice without any difficulty. This is the best value for money; the room, its bar, its equipment (large refrigerator, small oven and microwave) and its numerous rooms; large with shower and television. The main room is beautiful, with a small recess, ideal for DJs or video projection. More equipment, tables and chairs obviously but also an electric cooler, a huge coffee maker and lots of things available. Conclusion: I highly recommend the Sawmill to rent a room there. Point of improvement; the creation of a small enclosed outdoor space for children and pay attention to the difficulty in certain rooms having hot water.
15/08/2024: A real driver as we like them! Quality cuisine, unbeatable prices! Perfect for a quick stopover.
