Wow, I was so surprised!! Phenomenal! The service was incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming. There aren't many restaurants these days where you can enjoy your coffee and cognac with a good cigar. It truly feels like stepping back in time, where service and quality are paramount. The dishes are made with fresh, local, and top-quality ingredients. Superb! There are no places like this anymore. Impeccable service, simple dishes, and prime quality products, often with seasonal local ingredients. Coffee, cognac, and cigars are even available in Spain. Many restaurants no longer have cigars to accompany their coffee. A real pleasure!!

A little gem that I highly recommend... We were a party of two and received a very warm welcome without a reservation. A wide selection of dishes was available, and the portions were very generous! The bill was very reasonable. We'll definitely be back...

Our favorite lunch spot when we're in Ales. In the summer, it's on the charming square in the center near the Halles, and in the winter, it's cozy indoors. The owner is always cheerful and loves to joke with the guests. The varied menu features a different plat du jour every day. The Burger Cévenol with Pélardon is original and thankfully a permanent fixture on the menu; no cheddar can match that! Delicious dishes at very reasonable prices!
