First of all, unlike many others, there are no "extra charges" for any particular dish, so no misleading advertising... The difference between the set menu and the à la carte options is well-balanced, which is really appreciated! 24/09/2026: Very cozy restaurant with delicious food. We had looked at the menu outside and couldn't find anything vegetarian, but the owner immediately suggested some vegetarian alternatives for the dishes on the menu. And they were a huge hit!

31/08/2026: Well, after a great day on the motorbike with a friend, he unfortunately broke down. After waiting unnecessarily for help for 3.5 hours—thanks to the ANWB😒—we went out for dinner! Thanks to the Welshman there, we put this unpleasant experience aside. Persuaded by him to order the varied grill with a delicious glass of beer, and an Irish coffee afterwards, it lifted our cheerful spirits again! 27/08/2026: I had the opportunity to participate in a pastry workshop to learn how to make a raspberry cake, and what a wonderful experience it was! The afternoon went very well, in a small group which allowed us to truly benefit from personalized advice and high-quality guidance. We were guided step by step, with plenty of tips and tricks so we could then recreate the recipe on our own. The cake was delicious and was a hit with everyone at home when I brought it home! The ingredients used are of very high quality and the atmosphere was really pleasant. Add to that the variety of workshops offered by Le Taisson Gourmand and their very reasonable prices: the value for money is excellent. It was a fantastic time that I highly recommend! 😋

02/09/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, and what a pleasant surprise! The menu is simple, but everything is homemade and, above all, absolutely delicious. It just goes to show that you don't need a Michelin star to offer excellent food! Special mention goes to the burger, which is clearly one of the best I've ever had. The owner is also very warm, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable as a customer. A fantastic place that we're thrilled to have discovered by chance and that we wholeheartedly recommend!

The ice cream is absolutely delicious, with exquisite flavors and a true taste of quality ingredients. The portions are generous, the welcome is very warm, and the service is impeccable. The premises are also very clean. There's a wide selection: ice cream in cups or cones, toppings, smoothies, as well as nougat, marshmallows, meringues, and artisanal drinks. All at very reasonable prices considering the quality. An excellent spot in the city, which I highly recommend!

30/08/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, nor do I necessarily see the need to, but this time! You are, sir, the king of couscous!!! It's been a very long time, far too long, since we last enjoyed yours. What a wonderful idea our daughter had to give it to us as a gift one Sunday at lunchtime!

10/05/2026: A fantastic discovery in Alès. The fact that it's no longer a restaurant is perhaps an advantage for both Abdel and the customers. The couscous was magnificent. Unfortunately, we couldn't save any for dinner; it was too good.
