Excellent restaurant in Pomerol. They have a three course menu for both lunch and dinner. They also have a monthly three course lunch special menu which was excellent. My friend and I had reserved a table for noon and the restaurant kindly accommodated our request for a later seating, at short notice. We opted for the March lunch special menu, which only cost €27 excluding drinks. We had a mushroom soup with pork served garnished with croutons and seaweed for starters. The main dish was a white fish served with scallops and grains in a delicious white sauce. The dessert was an unusual rice pudding with caramelised pear and sea salt, caramel sauce. The restaurant had only been open for two days post winter and did not have English menus available. However, the manager was kind enough to explain the menu to us. Service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was very busy. The decor is a little dated, but the food Outweighs that. The only challenge was the lack of Internet availability on that day, meaning we had to pay by cash which luckily we did have. Parking is available behind the restaurant and on the road front. Considering it was winter, and the restaurant had just opened again, the the place was full which is a testament to the quality of the food. A definite recommend.

A magnificent restaurant with a wonderful chef. We ordered the chef's surprise menu and received a wonderful dinner accompanied by a unique wine!! It's definitely worth having dinner here.

A very pleasant setting, excellent service, friendly and very professional. But above all it is delicious cuisine worthy of a Michelin star. The perfect egg, squab and rum baba were excellent. It is a reference in the region that you absolutely must discover.
