La Table de Catusseau sur Pomerol

I came to Bordeaux for a spirits event (yes, not wine), and followed the winery owner to Pomerol for a wine tasting. We chose this restaurant for lunch. The restaurant wasn't large, but you could feel the advantage of being in a core wine-producing region. The wine list was many times thicker than the menu, and the cellar seemed bottomless… Because we had a very important meeting in the afternoon, the eight of us ordered a three-course lunch. The salad and dessert were excellent, and the foie gras was perfectly prepared, not overly fatty. The main course was rabbit, and… well… I wanted beef! I forgot what wine we paired it with, but I remember there was a group of cyclists next to us, showing off almost ten bottles of wine. They were so happy!

Every time I come to this restaurant, I am won over by the welcome, the service, and of course, the food. Another exceptional meal with the "chef's surprise" menu.

A real gem! The food is simply excellent, with delicious dishes. The service is impeccable: quick, attentive, and very professional. As for the staff, they are exceptionally kind, always smiling and ready to help. You truly feel welcome from beginning to end. A place I recommend without hesitation!

Having just moved to the area, we discovered this superb restaurant last night. Everything was perfect from start to finish; the service was quite efficient, yet still allowed ample time to savor the dishes. The servers were very competent and professional. The food was incredible, and the complimentary amuse-bouches were a lovely touch. The semi-gastronomic standard is very well represented by the quality of both the food and the service. Now that we live right next door, we'll definitely be back!

We ate there last week: it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the service was quick, and the dishes were clean and colorful—so appetizing! All this in a warm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Very good restaurant. However, it would be better if one of the waiters didn't add female customers he doesn't know on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Strava.
