La Table de la Mainaz sur Mijoux

I only tried the restaurant, and it's definitely not worth the price! I had half my plate of fatty chicken removed, and there wasn't a single vegetable to go with it. My partner's burger had no sauce (it was a bit bland). There was no water on the table. It was a public holiday, so we were told the menu would actually be à la carte (more expensive) for exactly the same dishes. The waiter didn't even look at us while speaking. We would have ordered the set menu, but in the end, we only ordered the main course (thankfully, given how bad it was...). However, the young women at reception were incredibly friendly and smiling, and the setting is beautiful. We were offered cheese gougères as an appetizer, which were very good, and small hazelnut financiers after the main course, which were also very good. We didn't have dessert or coffee, slightly disappointed by the €85 we spent on a plate of chicken, a burger, and two sodas...
