Generous, delicious, and very well-prepared cuisine, served piping hot... a warm, old-fashioned, family welcome. It's best to dine there midweek, and especially outside of school holidays, as seating is quite limited. Avoid peak times (weekends and school holidays). Don't hesitate to try the meat dishes, which are much more generous than the traditional raclettes and other classic fondues you'll find everywhere in Vamorel. There's a 10% discount if you're staying at the Hôtel du Bourg just above, a nice touch when the bill arrives, which is quite reasonable considering the location.

Always so welcoming and warm.
The team creates a family atmosphere in the restaurant, relaxing and like being at home.
We had the pierrade, a generous portion with simple sides of salad and potatoes.
It's a shame they didn't offer homemade or more locally sourced sauces.
The vacherin dessert was as delicious as ever.

A warm welcome from the restaurant owner.
The lunch menu was reasonably priced for a mountain restaurant.
I had the Vacherin du Mont d'Or cheese, and it was absolutely delicious! The presentation of the dishes was excellent; perhaps a few more side dishes would have been nice.
I highly recommend it! 😊

If you're looking for good mountain food, this is the place!
And downstairs, Yohan really gets the party started! The place is amazing! The cook is incredible, even adding a little onion to the gratinéed croziflette. Yohan is a machine, we'll be back in two days!
