La table du berger sur Les Avanchers-Valmorel

Not convinced, there was a mistake in the name of the starter, the dishes were dry with defrosted vegetables (even though it's summer…), and the crème brûlée for dessert was literally burnt. They did, however, offer to remake it, which was very kind. Perhaps an isolated incident, but quite disappointing.

A wonderful evening, a delicious homemade meal: baked egg with chanterelles, scallops on a bed of baby vegetables, Arctic char, pavlola, blueberry tart—everything was excellent. We also greatly appreciated the warm welcome, the service, and the decor. Thank you again for this very enjoyable time.

Beautiful setting, good food, generous portions, and great service. We were treated like regulars even though it was our first time. A pleasant surprise while in town!

Hello, We had a wonderful time at La Table du Berger. From the moment we arrived, we felt a genuine generosity, both in the welcome and in the food. The frog legs were superb, as was the Apremont wine. The owner is incredibly kind and does everything to make you feel comfortable. Inès, our waitress, was lovely, always smiling, and very attentive. I also really liked her slight resemblance to Sophie Marceau, which gives her a lot of charm. The owner's wife, though more discreet, is just as sweet, available, and helpful. The children's menus were perfect, the lasagna was perfect, and my chocolate dessert was excellent! A warm, genuine, and heartfelt welcome. Parents and children alike left happy and completely satisfied. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely experience.

A must-visit restaurant when we're in Valmorel. The best onion soup we've ever had!

Good food, the Savoriana cheese fondue is certainly much better than the one we had earlier at La Rosière. The manager is a personality in himself. He makes the atmosphere even better.
