La Table du Bois sur Saintes

The room decor was very personal. However, the location was very quiet and pleasant. More affordable food options would be a plus.

This is a place we regularly stop on our holiday route near Saintes. We particularly love the peaceful terrace bordering the lovely park with its beautiful trees and pond, home to a few ducks, a swan (her name is Mathilde), and even a heron. We also appreciate the service, which is always professional and friendly. And we love the location, less than 5 minutes from the motorway exit.

A favorite spot when I need to charge my car, as there's a Tesla charging station right in the park... A very pleasant, peaceful place with a beautifully landscaped park teeming with diverse wildlife! The property offers a large restaurant area, an indoor pool, and a terrace overlooking the park.

A delightful surprise in a beautiful park, a spacious room with original decor, and meals full of surprises and excellent service. Be warned, this hotel is unique.

A bit of a weird place, feels stuck in the 1980s! run down, empty, bleak, strange furnishings. There are some modern amenities like air con but no shower curtain, and no coffee/tea/kettle. The restaurant's food isn't great. The manager doesn't have much customer service training.

I was looking for a place to stay overnight while charging my Tesla. It was a lovely surprise; the place is very pleasant. There are lots of animals on the property (swans, ducks, moorhens, cranes, rabbits, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some). Ideal for relaxing or hosting family gatherings.

A gourmet restaurant of a very high standard. Everything is perfect: a presentation worthy of a Michelin star, exceptional quality, impeccable service, all at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it.
