We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Stéphanie and her entire team for organizing our wedding. The meal was excellent, the venue charming, and the weekend went off without a hitch. Thank you for meeting all our expectations and for adapting so efficiently to unforeseen circumstances. A professional, available, and welcoming team that we recommend without hesitation!

Our first family dining experience at the Château restaurant was wonderful. We received a very warm welcome, and the waiters and waitresses were fantastic! Especially the tall lady, who was very smiley, friendly, and gracious. Stéphanie, the manager, was also very welcoming and professional. The food was perfect, and at €47 per person, from aperitif to coffee and an evening of dancing... we had absolutely no complaints. We felt completely at ease.

We stayed overnight with France Passion and spontaneously asked if we could have dinner at the restaurant that evening. That was no problem at all, and the chef even whipped up a completely vegetarian menu at our request, which was delicious! The price, which was surprisingly low for a four-course meal, also included an aperitif, wine, and water! Thank you so much!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ A magnificent venue… but an experience unfortunately spoiled by the owner. Château de Cancéli is an absolutely wonderful and fabulous setting for a wedding. The venue is magnificent, and the waitresses were perfect from beginning to end: professional, lovely, smiling, and attentive. We couldn't find a single thing to criticize about them, quite the opposite! However, what a disappointment regarding the owner… The day before the wedding, while we were setting up our decorations, we were given instructions about where to place things, and then ultimately, we got the impression that no matter what we did, it was never quite right. Above all, we had this very unpleasant feeling of being constantly watched, scrutinizing our every move. Not exactly the atmosphere one hopes for when renting an estate to celebrate such an important event. But the next day, we were also very surprised by the pool. We had rented the entire estate for the weekend, yet we were denied access to the pool, even for just two children, because the owner was afraid everyone would end up wanting to use it. In this case, it might be better to clearly state the restrictions before booking. As for the lemonade, we had simply moved the table about two meters to accommodate our setup. Following this, the owner decided not to put a tablecloth on the table, telling us, "I'll move the table tomorrow anyway." As a result, the next day we found ourselves without a tablecloth for our lemonade. A small thing, admittedly, but one that unfortunately illustrates the accumulation of minor remarks and inconveniences that ultimately spoiled our experience. It's a real shame, because the château, the setting, and the waitresses truly deserve praise. But when you rent a venue for a wedding and feel more like you're being watched and reprimanded than treated like a customer, it inevitably leaves a bad taste. 👉 A magnificent venue and fantastic waitresses, but an owner who would really benefit from trusting her guests and letting them peacefully enjoy the venue they've rented.

An exceptional experience, I celebrated my wedding there: the venue is incredible, charming, and we had a wonderful meal! The food was absolutely top-notch 👌 generous and full of flavor!

We came to eat the spit-roasted suckling pig, which was very good. We agree with other comments about the service; indeed, don't be in a hurry as everyone eats at the same time, so plan to leave the table around 4 pm. The setting is really pleasant, no complaints there. The menu is also very affordable and the food is good; however, the menu is set, so you have to like everything. (For example, we didn't eat the dessert, which we didn't like, but that's part of the experience, I suppose.) Our main complaint was with the service. They bring the dishes without telling you what they are; they just put the plate down and that's it. (For example, we were served a plate of assorted toasts, but we didn't know what they were. My wife is allergic to certain foods like figs and chestnuts, so it would have been nice to simply know what was on our plates.) They don't ask if you'd like anything other than what's served (for example, still or sparkling water). Finally, the coffee served isn't espresso, so coffee lovers will be disappointed.

Always a very warm welcome; the kindness of the management and staff ensures a pleasant day. It's a natural destination for our family celebrations. Hello and thank you to them.

We celebrated our wedding on Saturday, April 4, 2026. Everything was perfect! From the aperitif to the excellent meal, the cake and the wedding cake were beautifully done!!! The welcome was warm, the service was always with a smile, we will definitely be back....A big thank you to Stéphanie for her kindness, her smile, and her professionalism.
