A friendly, competent waiter who gives excellent advice and even refrains from trying to sell you too much. Fantastic! The food is good, the prices are reasonable. The menu is quite extensive, but the restaurant is highly recommended.

I've been eating here two or three times a year for years; in winter in the cozy little dining room and in summer on their lovely terrace under the trees. Thank you to the chef for his excellent traditional cuisine—flavorful, home-style cooking made with fresh ingredients; and thank you to Adrien in the dining room, who knows how to combine professionalism, friendliness, and a personal touch with his customers. A wonderful duo who have represented Le Gayot for all these years and have never disappointed me. Bravo! See you soon!

As a coeliac, i was very impressed by the service and meal at this delightful little restaurant in the centre of historic Strasbourg. The manager and chef were very positive and helpful ensuring I had a delicious gluten free meal. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, perfectly cooked, and impeccably seasoned. A nice selection of wines, and the availability of wine by the glass was a real plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Add to that the professional and very friendly service 👍. Kudos to the chef and his team, as well as the waitstaff. The dining room is very small, so reservations are essential. We will definitely be back.
