I really liked this campsite as an employee, I returned to work there several years later and it is pleasant to see it evolve for its customers, I recommend it There are plenty of walks to do around with maps available at reception, and the proximity to the Château de Biron and the town of Gaugeac is a few minutes by car. I didn't have time to visit the new owners but the feedback is favorable.

4 years that we have been going to the Moulin de David for our summer holidays and we will go back again! The infrastructure is great, the toilets are clean, the staff are great, and there is entertainment for all tastes! We found OUR vacation spot. See you soon Christophe and Nicole! What a nice, nice campsite with very nice staff. Went here for a few days last July and really enjoyed it. The children loved the swimming pool and swimming lake. Animation also nice. When my partner had a fall (through his own actions) they were all very helpful, friendly and compassionate. We will definitely come back here!! Thanks again for all your help and service!!!!

A big THANK YOU to all the staff for the kindness shown and the quality of the services offered throughout our stay. The well-maintained campsite is located a stone's throw from Monpazier, the Château de Biron and a reasonable distance from other points of interest (Visits, swimming, kayaking, restaurants, etc.). As soon as we arrived, the team at reception reacted in an altruistic and professional manner by managing to manage a disappointment and a big lack of communication towards us from a certain online reservation site. His intervention allowed us to have an excellent 15-day stay on a site, accompanied by our 12-year-old son who took full advantage of the swimming pool, the artificial lake as well as the various infrastructures and activities that were suggested to him. The entertainment program is complete and suitable for both adults and children. Reserving bread and pastries is very practical, the Snack available until 3 p.m. is appreciable and the dishes offered at the brasserie are of good quality, the Périgourdine salad is also a "Must" and is prepared with fervent attention, the pizzas are also... how should I put it... and what to think of the Cocktail menu... The regular presence of local producers (wine and cheese) on the campsite is also an excellent initiative. As for the negative points, we're still looking! We sincerely enjoyed our stay at “Camping Le Moulin de David”, this stopover is a real sure bet that could even be booked with your eyes closed!

What can we say about the previous year except that when we are in this campsite we never want to leave. The entertainment is superb without counting on the swimming pool and the lake to have fun. Stayed for 2.5 weeks at Le Moulin de David campsite. Not too large French-oriented campsite. Many French, but also plenty of Dutch, Belgians and English. Employees are very friendly. The animation doesn't mean much. The lake is smaller than the photos suggest (more of a swimming pond than a swimming lake), nice with slides and a trampoline in the middle, but the children found the water too cold. Swimming pool with sunbeds simple, but the water is wonderful. What we missed at the campsite is a playground for the children. Sanitary facilities outdated and could use a good cleaning (tiles with yellow deposits, mold on the wall). Showers not always hot. There were problems with the WiFi, which made the coverage very poor, so we received the codes for free. The campsite couldn't do anything about it, but it was annoying for our teenagers. Websites are not entirely accurate (including reception and restaurant opening hours). In the immediate vicinity, the villages of Monpazier and Monflaquin are very beautiful to visit and a little further away Sarlat and Bergerac. Not organized by the campsite, but a fun thing to do is to go canoeing for a day by bus and to Univerland Journiac for a day, where you can do karting, laser gaming, ax throwing, Prison Escape, etc.
