We tried A La Tablée out of curiosity… and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The welcome is simple and efficient, no fake smiles, just people who know their job well. It immediately puts you at ease. The service follows suit, everything flows smoothly, no unnecessary waiting, everything is seamless. The dishes are clean, well-prepared, and above all, delicious. You can tell there's seriousness in the kitchen, without trying too hard. And clearly, when the bill arrives, you know it's well-deserved. No complaints there. In short, a place that does the job properly, and that's a pleasure.

We had the pleasure of discovering the restaurant A La Tablée in Lyon's 7th arrondissement, and the experience lived up to its reputation. The welcome was warm and the service pleasant, but overall the experience was disappointing considering the prices. We ordered carpaccio with a mini burrata (this detail isn't mentioned on the menu, especially since their TikTok/Instagram videos show a large one) with an extra side of fries: a very small portion and packet mayonnaise, which is a shame given the restaurant's stated level of quality. The "special dish" was decent but lacked any real distinction, and certainly wasn't melt-in-your-mouth as expected. The plate was very simple, with just a few leaves of lamb's lettuce, despite the high price. As for drinks, the cocktails also lacked attention to detail (contrary to their social media videos): a virgin mojito made with syrup, with no visible lemon, and a red fruit cocktail that raised doubts about the use of fresh fruit, both priced at €9. The presentation was quite basic. In short: prices approaching those of a semi-gastronomic restaurant for a quality closer to that of a brasserie. A shame, because the potential is there.

Just okay. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was calm, but it could be better. I'll go back to see if the atmosphere improves.
