La Tablee Medievale sur Civrieux-D'Azergues

We chose this hotel because we are loyal to Logis hotels when they are located near our stay. We were very happy with this hotel; it's charming, clean, quiet, and has very comfortable beds. We were delighted with the very helpful staff (Fabien, Sara, Jade, and all the others whose names we don't know). And the owner, Laurence, is also very friendly, truly! Everything went superbly, from booking to departure. In addition, the food is very good (on the large and beautiful terrace). But the indoor dining room is also very pleasant. We'll be back next time. The private parking, although not gated, is secure and reassuring.

Delicious restaurant with wonderful specialties on the menu: andouillettes, frogs' legs, chicken fricassee, praline French toast, Pic Saint Loup cheese… something to please everyone, in a beautiful room blending modern and medieval styles, all served with a smile and professionalism… highly recommended and definitely worth a visit again.

Top! Honestly, a great find! 2 nights, 2 dinners - Room 8/10: comfortable, quiet. A small welcome tray would have made it perfect. - Dinner 10/10: 2 absolutely fantastic meals, generous portions, homemade, delicious, and flavorful! Nothing to complain about! Impeccable service. Only downside: the breakfast, very basic and not comparable to the restaurant; scrambled eggs and sausages would have been nice.

We left the restaurant. The waitresses were very attentive and warm, putting their heart into their service. However, we were disappointed by the quality of the food, much of which we recognized as typical of Metro (since we often order from there), particularly the chocolate fondant. It's a shame; we don't come to a restaurant to eat Metro-style food, but rather to experience a chef's signature style.

Beware of Room 2 There is a very loud and rather shrill ventilation noise, apparently coming from the kitchen below. The system starts up around 6:30–7:00 PM, making a nap impossible due to the constant noise. In the evening, we were told that the ventilation would be turned off after the restaurant closed, which was indeed done. However, in the morning, despite our request to sleep a little longer without the noise, the ventilation started up again around 8:30 AM. It was impossible to continue sleeping. If you are staying at this hotel, I therefore advise you to avoid Room 2 and request another room.

A unique and welcoming hotel, friendly and efficient staff, excellent restaurant. Well located near Lyon.
