A good time with the family. We were seated in the courtyard of the restaurant (shade and flowers provided). Top-notch service and welcome. The cuisine was very good (taste and proportion). I recommend this address.

We had a good time, our table was set up in the quiet, shaded courtyard. Good lunch, traditional cuisine but so well prepared. Honestly, it’s good. The boss and the service, welcoming, took great care of us. Besides, remember to book, it's preferable.

On vacation in Sarzeau I stopped there. Very good meal, from starter to dessert. Cod fillet with a homemade sauce, the sauce was delicious. Very good value for money, €24.50 for a starter/main course or main course/dessert menu. I chose starter/main course, and having finally had a dessert it was €27. Choice of interior or garden. I chose the garden, very pleasant even if the temperature quickly dropped. I advise you to stop at this address.

Super restaurant frequented regularly which offers good products, well cooked and well presented. Congratulations to the cooks and owners for their very warm welcome. Reasonable price for the quality. To recommend without restriction

La Taverne reste une institution à Sarzeau. Très bon accueil, service impeccable. On y mange bien. Les propriétaires sont adorables. Je recommande, vivement la chaleur pour pouvoir déjeuner dans le jardin

24/08/2024: We ate with 2 couples and 4 children. Sensation of a restaurant for tourists: the pancakes and crepes stuck to the plate, not very garnished, big doubts about the "homemade" filling. They were rather dry and upon notifying the staff the response was "we eat them like that around here" but we are Bretons ourselves and that is not true. We feel that we have to fill the restaurant and do several services because we were served quickly and in a rather expeditious manner. The staff is not friendly, the cutlery is placed on the table and everyone helps themselves... The prices are correct. I don't recommend.

26/01/2025: Thank you for this good time! We recommend with your eyes closed. Very friendly team, patient with children, fast service, simple but hearty menu, we will come back (the scallop leek pancake deserves its place on the menu all year round)
11/01/2025: Very fast service, hot plates to keep the pancake as hot as possible. An atypical place very highly recommended.
