28/09/2026: Excellent food, but the staff was a bit casual, not quite top-notch. The welcome for a birthday celebration was rather understated: a small candle and no other attention, not even a word from the chef or management! A shame, because the location, the cuisine, the creativity, the quality of the dishes, and the freshness of the ingredients are absolutely superb!

15/10/2026: It was a very bad experience. The waitstaff was completely overwhelmed and seemed very stressed, as did the kitchen staff, apparently. We had already been sitting there for an hour before receiving our amuse-bouches. We ordered the Gourmand menu and the scallops. Serving scallops on andouillette sausage is already quite daring, but it didn't work. The foie gras had a rather strange taste. The second starter and the main courses were very nicely presented, but their taste was quite ordinary; it was like school cafeteria food, prepared by an ambitious but totally inexperienced cook, or simply mediocre. But the biggest shock was the desserts: a mismatched and tasteless mix of ingredients. We have been eating out regularly in France for several years, and this was our worst experience—and undoubtedly one of the most expensive. We are shocked and don't understand the positive reviews.

05/10/2026: Great experience at the spa: incredibly kind and welcoming staff, and a very pleasant massage. However, a terrible customer experience with the restaurant and management: a mistake by the waitstaff regarding our menu, which was part of a "package" with the spa and should have only included a starter and main course or a main course and dessert (we weren't aware of this), but we were given a starter, main course, and dessert without even being asked our opinion. As a result, there was absolutely no flexibility at the time of payment; we had to argue for half an hour only to end up with a tiny discount. A complete lack of customer service and flexibility, especially for an error on their part. Even though I had confirmed the exact amount we would have to pay over the phone when making the reservation, we ended up having to pay more. The icing on the cake? Once we had paid (after trying for quite some time to make our point), the manager offered to refund the overpayment. Seriously? Wouldn't it have been more customer-friendly to admit your mistake from the start, take responsibility, and offer a gesture of goodwill to honor the quoted price? And how can we spare everyone this unpleasant customer experience? On another note, the meal was very ordinary, with many promises and an air of originality in the descriptions of the dishes, but very little flavor on the palate. The fish was dry and far too overcooked. Our previous experience less than a year ago was similar to the restaurant: no flexibility in modifying the menu (replacing the starter with one from the lower-priced menu) and very little flavor. We tried again, but it will be the last time!

27/09/2026: A huge thank you to all the teams for the wonderful 3 nights we spent celebrating our wedding anniversary...from the reception to the restaurant. A big thank you to the servers for their kindness and attentiveness. The breakfasts were magnificent in the beautiful veranda overlooking the pond. The rooms were beautiful and tastefully decorated. The spa is superb, as is the welcome. And the massages—what can I say? We left feeling completely relaxed after the stress of daily life. We will be back very soon, and thank you again for this magnificent setting.

23/05/2026: We were a group of about thirty people. A large private room was reserved for the occasion. All the guests were dazzled. The dishes were refined and the seasonings perfectly balanced. The flavor combinations were sophisticated and often original, and the execution was near perfection. The dishes lived up to their promise. The fish (ultra-fresh) was cooked to an exceptional degree of precision and beautifully presented. The service was stylish, efficient, friendly, and seamless. A very well-oiled team who knew what they were talking about when asked for details about the dishes served. A huge congratulations to this team who proudly represent Breton gastronomy while also showcasing their originality! A must-visit.

29/05/2026: We just spent three nights there. A magnificent place with a wonderful welcome, and the food was simply divine—very, very pleasant flavors and very generous portions. The desserts were delicious. A truly excellent place to stay.

27/05/2026: For the past five years, we've spent a weekend at this hotel. We always return with just as much pleasure. The young couple who own it are lovely, the hotel's location is truly right on the seafront, and the Spanish cuisine is excellent. Don't hesitate any longer and come recharge your batteries at Le Mur du Roy; you'll have a very pleasant stay. Natacha and Gérard

03/10/2026: I called to order a four-cheese pizza, and they told me they also had three- or even five-cheese pizzas. Great, even more cheese, I thought! Well, just order a five-cheese pizza in a large size and I'll be there right away. The service was very friendly, and they made the pizza very quickly—no complaints there. However, once I got home, comfortably settled on my sofa, ready to enjoy my meal in front of my show—something that was supposed to be a pleasant and enjoyable moment—imagine my surprise when, upon opening the box, I initially thought it was a bad joke. Fluorescent pink and green cheeses, like crayons, were strewn everywhere as far as the eye could see on my pizza dough... how bizarre! Has American extravagance somehow reached our Italian friends? But never mind, I don't judge a book by its cover, and I won't start today. I'm going to eat with gusto! Well, that last one disappeared very quickly... A disgusting cheese, tasteless and rubbery, it was like a multicolored Babybel, but worse! Probably very useful for making Play-Doh for children, but in no way edible! First time in my life I haven't finished a homemade pizza... (even a frozen one would have given me more pleasure, that's saying something!) It's a real shame, but what about this bad experience? Unfortunately, I won't be setting foot in that place again... Joking aside, it's better to warn than to entertain. If you want to stray from the traditional side of pizza, fine, that's your choice, but warn your customers in that case. Paying €16.50 for a pizza that ends up in the compost... I'm not exactly thrilled! We're fed up!
