23/05/2026: We were a group of about thirty people. A large private room was reserved for the occasion. All the guests were dazzled. The dishes were refined and the seasonings perfectly balanced. The flavor combinations were sophisticated and often original, and the execution was near perfection. The dishes lived up to their promise. The fish (ultra-fresh) was cooked to an exceptional degree of precision and beautifully presented. The service was stylish, efficient, friendly, and seamless. A very well-oiled team who knew what they were talking about when asked for details about the dishes served. A huge congratulations to this team who proudly represent Breton gastronomy while also showcasing their originality! A must-visit.

A magnificent place with a wonderful welcome, and the food was simply divine—very, very pleasant flavors and very generous portions.
The desserts were delicious.
A truly excellent place to stay.
27/05/2026: For the past five years, we've spent a weekend at this hotel. We always return with just as much pleasure. The young couple who own it are lovely, the hotel's location is truly right on the seafront, and the Spanish cuisine is excellent. Don't hesitate any longer and come recharge your batteries at Le Mur du Roy; you'll have a very pleasant stay.

Excellent crêpes, fresh ingredients, delicious crêpes, and a great selection of varieties, including some innovative ones. The service was friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

13/05/2026: As hikers on the GR trail, we received an extremely warm welcome, the food was delicious, and dogs are welcome. I highly recommend it!
02/01/2026: We stopped at this bar during a bike ride. Needless to say, the break was short-lived.
From the moment we arrived, the place gave a mixed impression: lots of cats, a very unpleasant smell, and a rather unwelcoming reception from the owner.
She served us the Cokes we ordered, explaining that the labels were missing and there were visible traces of snails in the till—a rather unusual explanation, to say the least 😂.
The table was dirty, the glasses unappealing, and the Coke cost €4. When we pointed out the price, the owner replied, "I don't give discounts, and I don't even want to work, yet I still open the bar," which pretty much sums up the atmosphere of the place.
To get to the toilets, you had to walk through the house, where there was, among other things, a cat urine stain, which certainly didn't improve the experience.
In short, this establishment is best avoided in its current state. It's a shame, however, because the outdoor setting is very pleasant and has real potential.

07/05/2026: Absolutely no politeness, barely even a hello. No smiles. Horribly expensive: €4.60 for a large peach syrup with lukewarm water, and absolutely no table service! I hope it was just an off day for the owners.
