Wonderful welcome! The waiter was incredibly kind, helpful, and clearly passionate about his work – a rare find these days! Our raclette was delicious, no complaints whatsoever, and the portion was generous! I highly recommend it! 👍

At La Taverne Comtoise, the food is always excellent and the welcome is always very warm. We recently had the buffet for €21 (the price has gone up a bit but is still reasonable), with a choice of starters, main course, and dessert, and a glass of wine included. Very good. La Taverne is one of the only truly decent restaurants in Metabief. It's a good idea to book ahead as the restaurant is often full.

We had a very pleasant time at this little restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, and the service was flawless. As for the food, we ordered the warm Mont d'Or cheese, served with potatoes, salad, and charcuterie in generous portions.
We ordered a children's menu for our daughter, and the nuggets were excellent.
Great find!
