A huge thank you to La Taverne Comtoise for allowing us to enjoy a much-desired fondue, which was excellent (the only place in Morbier or Morez to offer this iconic winter dish of the region; otherwise, it's pizza or kebabs—French gastronomy is slowly disappearing). A truly authentic place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere (we arrived soaked from the Morbier train station 😆). Excellent memories, highly recommended.

A very pleasant restaurant with a warm atmosphere, fast and professional service, and reasonable prices on the dishes. However, we were disappointed with the value for money of the extra side dishes for our fondue; the price for five extra potatoes was exorbitant, and the charcuterie platter consisted of mediocre products. Despite this minor disappointment, we were very satisfied with our dinner!

A place of unparalleled splendor. Smiling, energetic, and friendly waitresses. Simple yet sophisticated and high-quality cuisine. The restaurant itself is quite calm, but you can still enjoy the lively atmosphere of the bar area.

01/03/2026: I enjoyed my hot chocolate on the terrace while waiting for my children to have their ski lesson. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
02/01/2026: A very warm welcome. The waitress was smiling. There were four of us, and we all had the teddy bear burger—it was delicious! We couldn't have dessert because the children were eager to get back on the slopes, but we came back for afternoon tea with Nutella crepes. They're really generous with the Nutella; you could really taste it, unlike at some other resorts, and the hot chocolate was also very good. Unfortunately, our vacation is over, but we wish you all the best for the future.
