Overall, not too bad. The Kir was a bit bland and the white wine wasn't great. The meal was decent and plentiful. The apple tart was a bit light.

Back at this restaurant after a year, still as good as ever, excellent service, top-notch food, see you in a year's time, I very much hope!

And there you have it! We have to tell the truth again! The Gaul's Tavern is a real, unpretentious place! In addition to a warm welcome, we thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal! Oh well...we'll be back!!! Thank you all so much.

This is a fantastic restaurant! We had a wonderful meal; I personally enjoyed a porcini mushroom omelet which was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the kindness of the waiter who made our experience so enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant 😋
