04/04/2024: The good ratings of this establishment guided me to this restaurant
So take stock.....am I too demanding?
First of all the setting, very nice, very decorated, we like it or not, it suits me. the atmosphere is very noisy, very lively, there are people even during the week and in the evening, so there is discussion, it's normal , we also agree or not, it doesn't bother me more than that and it's better than a restaurant without entertainment.
The service, here I had some problems, until the end of the aperitif everything was fine, but then our setbacks began, the waiter brought our starters, did not clear the aperitif board from the table, and we asked for the menu drinks to drink something while we eat..........the waiter whose attention I manage to capture only 20 minutes later finally comes to take our drink request, and we will never see our carafe of water arrive that day, the rest we still got it phew...😁, the dishes arrive, our child will never see his mayonnaise arriving to soak his fries, you tell me, but we had to call the waiters! yes but impossible to meet their looks and I wasn't going to spend my evening getting up to play the annoying customer of the evening
Otherwise pleasant service and friendly and kind waiters, I don't question that. Yes there were people but the customer should not suffer from that
The meal now, not crazy, lacks flavor and the welsh like the marrow bones are very fatty, yes I know a welsh is fatty, but when the fat leaks from the dish it's not really great
, the maroilles tartiflette lacks flavor and bacon, the fries are good even without mayo, and the small terrine as an aperitif is delicious
So be careful, I'm not criticizing for downing this restaurant, but just to give an objective opinion, it may not have been the right evening, or it's me who's used to better, I have quite a few restaurants under my belt and this little word is absolutely not negative
The prices are moderate and accessible, the atmosphere good, just pay attention to the service, I know that it is not a simple job and that mistakes happen. I will come back later to see if I stick to this opinion or if I will modify it
