This was the best meal in Bayeux coupled with very friendly service who made an effort to speak English with us as my school French is simply not enough. Price-performance is also right. I can absolutely recommend it.

Away from the centre this provided really decent food at a good price minus the frills of other flashy restaurants. Tables are a bit close together but ok. Service was good, friendly and there were no long waits for food

If you can, avoid Bayeux in midsummer as this city is a gastronomic disaster! Thousands of people are queuing in front of the tourist stalls in the pedestrian zone that are aimed at making quick money. If you have patience, you will come across the restaurant La Terrasse, which is inconspicuously located on a side street, where you will receive a very friendly welcome, will be treated to delicious food and the price-performance ratio is optimal.
