La Terrasse sur Saugues

My opinion only concerns the restaurant for lunch. The mixed salad and the delicious bamboo chicken, the desserts too. Less good rating for the rump steak where there was a lot of nerve a little expensive for my other half that I ate (24€)

Simple room, a little dated like the whole hotel but comfortable bedding

Please note, only reviews of the restaurant. Very welcoming staff, but obviously the restaurant has changed hands since the visit of the Michelin guide inspectors - through whom I found the restaurant - in 2017 (plaque visible at the entrance). So don't go there thinking it's the same as in the Guide. Very limited menu, with a few Asian and French dishes, which were otherwise good.

Hotel très agréable, excellent accueil, chambre spacieuse et ensoleillée, salle de bain propre et fonctionnelle, très calme. Nous étions pélerins sur le chemin de Compostelle, meilleur petit déjeuner que nous ayons eu sur la région. Excellent diner avec la 1/2 pension : velouté de champignons à tomber !

We had a very good meal. Asian cuisine! Really good quality for a very reasonable price.

I had the opportunity to have a dinner during an evening stop on the way to Compostela. Nothing to complain about in terms of dinner it was good even if the names of the products need to be reviewed for example it is marked shrimp spring rolls and it is a donut for example it is marked fruit soup it is acts like a coulis.... On the other hand the breakfast was lousy it was expensive and no choice for example cook had not provided enough eggs for everyone.... Which is a problem since it's up to us to organize our picnic which is already sorted and which we put together ourselves from the ingredients we have for breakfast. In addition, cooked ham is low-end, in short there is really an effort to be made or else you should not offer breakfast and picnics if you are not able to offer decent products. Otherwise the staff is friendly and the lady at breakfast really did everything to try to please us

Perfect value for money. Very clean rooms, perfect catering. We stopped there and were very well received. We recommend this hotel

Rather good cuisine and an interesting menu, however we found that the quantity-price ratio was not particularly there. Plates too light for the price. For example €7 for a perfect egg, it's nothing more than an egg with a few salad leaves and small pieces of raw ham. Few fries with the flank steaks. 7€ also for a small piece of rather dry tarte tatin with a small spoon of cream... very interesting stewed chicken, but once the leaves are removed there's not much left either... In the end addition to 30€ per person, or we are left a little hungry. Fast service and pleasant staff.
