La tête ail'heur sur Veynes

A lovely little restaurant with a pretty terrace, excellent food, and everything homemade, especially the fries and tiramisu we had. Honest, generous, down-to-earth, and unpretentious, with affordable prices—a rarity these days—we'll definitely be back. With such friendly people, it's a real pleasure!

We had a fantastic meal for €16.50 for the set menu, a rare find these days… Special mention for the homemade fries and the delicious desserts (tiramisu and lemon meringue pie)! A very warm welcome; if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back 😊

We stopped there, on the recommendation of a hotelier. It's in the village. We were quite surprised to walk into a bar... at aperitif time! A kind lady seated us and offered us her set menu for €16.50... you read that right. The melon and prosciutto starters were decent, but the duck confit on the dauphinoise potatoes was absolutely delicious. A starter, main course, and dessert for €16.50—stop and enjoy! (And take advantage of the conversations at the bar!)

Arriving in Veynes during a violent thunderstorm, due to a train change error in Valence, I spent part of the evening at La Tête Ail'Heur waiting to be picked up... The evening had started badly, but I received a warm welcome and was helped by the owner and his customers. I won't forget this act of kindness during such a stressful time. Thank you for the welcome, the beers, and the quick bites. This mishap turned into a great story thanks to you, a big thank you! Perhaps see you again soon, but to explore the region this time. All the best to you. I highly recommend this place.

Very good and beautiful lamb shank! Very friendly service and pleasant setting.

Pleasant service and very good food. We left very happy with our meal.

Homemade food, pleasant terrace, and a warm welcome. A great place to eat.

I had lunch here by chance today; it's simple, good, and generous. Lovely terrace and friendly waitress. I recommend it.

A wonderful discovery during a road trip. A lovely family meal is served on the terrace by a charming lady. The home cooking is excellent, and the portions are generous.
