La Thaliette sur Virey-Le-Grand

During my bike ride from Nantes to Mulhouse, I left EV6 and stopped at La Thaliette. There, I found the kind of traditional cuisine I'd dreamed of for my journey: not a snack, not heavy, and perfect for fueling my efforts. I had fish on a bed of tender zucchini, a strawberry salad with ice cream. Definitely a "seasonal meal." Over roughly 1000km, it was, for me, the best meal suited to my needs. Proof of this is that I stopped there again on my return trip, also by bike, for trout with polenta and strawberries. I was so engrossed in the meal that I almost forgot about the efficient and attentive staff. And kudos to the chef!
