Very well presented, perfect vegetables but the octopus tentacle inedible for my partner and not cooked enough for me for a starter at 19th is average!
Especially since we reported it and no action was taken

La Tomate Verte is my favorite restaurant in Aix en Provence because you can either choose the meat or the fish of the day and you will never be disappointed by the Chef’s selection and cooking. The desserts are amazing and made with season fruits. If you take meat, do not hesitate to follow Marylin’s recommendation for the wine, a Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil. The service was great and the terrace is very pleasant. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent little restaurant!
Very healthy and sought-after little dishes. This restaurant also offers very good homemade smoothies made to order. Very good selection of homemade desserts. Lots of vegetarian options.

Brilliant food. I would recommend the fish of the day, which was a seabass with a bed of mashed peas and potatoes, I believe. Also, I would recommend the flank steak skewers - the chimichurri dressing on the steak was excellent. we paid €35 for a starter main and desert, which is great value for money.
Friendly staff that spoke very good English.

Favorite ❤️ We arrived in front of the restaurant and took a look at the menu. We wanted to come and discover what the map presented to us. In a very pretty setting.
Excellent welcome by the waitresses, we were made to feel at ease, with a presentation of the menu and the discovery of the day. Quality home cooking and a choice for everyone.
A favorite that delighted our taste buds and a surprising dessert to finish an excellent dinner.
Looking forward to returning to Aix en Provence to discover new dishes.
A big thank you to all the team.

Tout était parfait jusqu’a l’addition …. le sans contact était hs, impossible de régler ce succulent diner avec mon téléphone, j’ai été contraint d’utiliser la CB de mon épouse, c’est a ce moment précis que le drame a commencer 🤭.
Merci a toute l’équipe (même si je ne vous félicite pas pour la dernière minute dans votre établissement 😉).

Un bon bistro … Mais au tarif un petit peu élevé. Le repas est correct, le service est impeccable, les jeunes serveurs sont très sympa et ont envie de bien faire. L’entrée est correcte mais manque un peu de générosité. La pièce de viande est de qualité exceptionnelle mais l’accompagnement et le dressage mérite un peu plus de soins compte tenu du tarif relativement élevé. Les desserts sont maison, bien faits mais trop simples compte tenu le tarif.
