A very nice restaurant with a warm atmosphere. A very warm welcome. A real delight, varied, balanced, and delicious cuisine. The chef even managed to make me like Brussels sprouts again. Highly recommended.

Visiting Aix for the first Time with my son who's hopng to go to University there. We found La Tomate Verte last weekend. Looked very inviting from outside, we hadn't booked, the owner greeted us warmly with a big smile. Loved all the choices on the menu, we had a fabulous meal, 2 delicious glasses of local wine. It was hearty and delicious. Everyone was super friendly, we spoke both English and French (sons bilingual) we both loved it and won't hesitate to go back. I know that it's "service compris" in France but I was so happy with everything I left a 20% tip without a second thought. Bravo well done. 👍

Excellent dinner and service. We each tried a different dish; hen and beef, and both were terrific. Very tasty, tender and good portions, along with delicious sides of vegetables and potato dish. Service was exceptional. I highly recommend.

14/02/2026: Fantastic, wonderful. We went on our first night in Aix last Friday and found a table without any problems. Unfortunately, we didn't have the same luck the next night, but we'll definitely be back in May. A must-visit for vegetarians and vegans everywhere. We had, without a doubt, the best leek tart ever, and a truly delicious veggie burger with potatoes. The creamy appetizer soup was also excellent. The guy who does a great job all by himself was really kind; despite this, the waits aren't too long. Really excellent prices.
