I just discovered La Tomette. A warm welcome, an original concept, impeccable service, and a concise menu featuring homemade dishes. I had a very good pulled pork burger with a Camembert sauce. The homemade fries were perfect.
The restaurant is divided into three spaces in an 18th-century building, with terracotta tiles on the ground floor, parquet flooring upstairs, and a stone staircase connecting the two. Upstairs, the room is bright with very pleasant spacing between the tables. La Tomette also offers a menu of homemade tapas with a wide selection of cocktails. I'll try them as soon as I get the chance.
I was with my dog, who was also very well received. Excellent value for money.

A private room was booked for a fantastic birthday celebration; everyone thoroughly enjoyed the menu. The meat lovers especially loved the duck 😋🤤🥰. It was the perfect family meal, with loved ones, delicious food, and good wine.

And here's a restaurant just the way we like it. You push open the door and the owner welcomes you like you're in the South of France. No need to ask for the menu; the owner, as always, will charm you like Alphonse Daudet recounting his Letters from His Windmill. Because when it comes to windmills, he knows his stuff! And let me tell you about his cooking, his beef, his pork, or his local poultry. And what's more, he knows a thing or two about cocktails, the rascal. After the duck hash, the hand-cut steak tartare, and the slow-cooked Norman chicken, the wine cellar makes an appearance at your table. We end with the owner's smile and tell ourselves we'll be back very soon. Thank you, Boss.

We go there fairly regularly.
The chef's welcome is always very warm.
The food is excellent, original without being eccentric.
