La Tomette sur Caen

Exquisite food and exceptionally pleasant service are the hallmarks of La Tomette. We chose the beef and pork cheek and were immediately won over. We received a very warm welcome, despite our spontaneous visit, but it might be best to make a reservation. Highly recommended.

I don't usually leave reviews, but the service and the food deserve this one. A very pleasant evening, with a warm and friendly welcome. And the dishes: delicious! We plan to return.

We had a wonderful time with friends. The service was top-notch, with a chef who knows his ingredients inside and out. The food was excellent, featuring local produce. I highly recommend it for those who appreciate small, welcoming restaurants.

Very nice and cosy restaurant, especially with the outdoor terras. The owners are really friendly and attentive and take their time and pride to explain the dishes. The tartare is delicious, as well as the pain perdu.

The food was excellent. The waiter was very cheerful and professional; he convinced me to order a starter that I didn't regret for a second. He also recommended some very nice red wines, which, unlike in some other restaurants, weren't opened immediately, allowing me to truly savor a good wine. The main course was also very good and not at all filling (so I didn't get a chance to try Anthony's crème brûlée from the menu 🥲). I highly recommend this establishment 😎

Excellent restaurant, everything is homemade with excellent ingredients. I particularly recommend: the beef tagliata, the fries, the hazelnut crème brûlée, and the French toast.

Excellent products, limited selection as everything is homemade and delicious. Relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Desserts and wines (even by the glass) around 9 euros.

It's a local vibe. Near the front bar, an 8 top of French debate something important. I have a Boucher selection of entrecote com Camembert sauce and frites. Fantástic. Staff were very pleasant with attentive service. The house rouge by the glass was a Corbier!! I enjoyed it very much.
