A relaxed and humorous owner, a place where the stones seem to speak, generous portions, delicious ingredients, homemade cuisine, and a delightful little white wine from the southwest, "Frisson d'automne" (Autumn Thrill). In short... An excellent evening for the two friends (the brunette and the blonde) who will definitely be back. Well done! Don't change a thing, and especially not the pistachio crème brûlée 😋!

The dishes have a personal style, and you can tell there's research and dedication behind them (e.g., one dish had a 3-day preparation process, unusual for a restaurateur). The flavors are very good, both in the savory dishes and the desserts. Prices are fair, if not slightly below average, despite offering service and quality well above the norm. Special attention to children. They're ready to customize dishes according to guests' dietary restrictions, who are treated like friends. Recommended.

August 13, 2026 Small restaurant with very friendly owners. Excellent food prepared to order. Rustic but very charming atmosphere. Good ratauille and house salad "la tomette" with exceptional fried Camembert. Well-balanced dressing. Excellent fish and chips with fresh fish and perfect breading. Veal neck prepared over three days with great care. Very good pork burger. Very good fries and baked potatoes. Dessert: lemon and basil crème brûlée. Returnable. It deserves 5 stars for the fair prices for the quality and quantity of food, but I don't recall ever giving anyone 5 stars, even a starred one.

A nice little restaurant, a bit away from the hustle and bustle. The owner serves the guests himself and is really very friendly. The menu also includes daily specials. We had a good meal and enjoyed the evening.

30/08/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent; very refined, with great flavor combinations; we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was a little slow, but we arrived at the end of service, which probably explains it. We highly recommend it! :)
18/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! A little outside the center of Caen, but well worth the detour! We had a fantastic time at Chef and his wife's restaurant. Exceptional value for money, with high-quality ingredients and refined, flavorful, and perfectly executed cuisine. The chef is incredibly attentive to his guests, with great kindness and passion. His wife provides attentive service and offers excellent advice on dishes and wines. An authentic, warm, and unpretentious place where you can truly feel the desire to please and offer beautiful cuisine. Thank you for your hospitality and congratulations to you both for this wonderful restaurant! We will definitely be back.

18/08/2026: Fantastic!!! You can't come to Caen and not come here. The best steak tartare we've ever had. The wine was a proper serving, not the standard 12cl they give you in France. The service was excellent.
