I bought a box of 30 canelés, one chocolate Bordeaux and one almond Bordeaux. They are all good.

There's always excellent value for money at La Toque Cuivre. No surprises with the canelés. They remain a Bordeaux classic. They also have apple tarts; just reheat them at home in the oven.

The best. I had one everyday that I was in Bordeaux tbh. Amazing price for crispy yet chewy canelés

LA BRASSERIE DU SUD OUEST

01/10/2026: Noisy brasserie. Very average meal. Small portions. Served quickly with a smile. Expect to pay 30 euros per person in the evening. I would not recommend this restaurant.
26/09/2026: The coffee tasted good, however the man behind the counter didn’t seem interested in offering customer service if you speak english.
