Excellent products and preparation. We shared 6 different plates. Starters and main courses were delicious. Good mocktails and wines. Terrace was basic with smokers.

Superb establishment! The dishes are original and well-conceived, showcasing ingredients you don't see everywhere. The selection of high-end cocktails is extensive, and the welcome and service are simply top-notch.

Nice bar with good drinks. Cannot recommend to take Champagne by the glass. We got charged for an extra glass that was just a tiny rest of the bottle and supposedly ‘on the house’ as they didn’t want to open a new one. This is not a great guest experience.

Had drinks with a group of 9. Cocktails were awesome! The service (Max) was unbelievable looking after us all night! We all had an awesome night.

We made reservations at Symbiose for a party of 8 (4 adult and 4 kids) on the day the Tour de France was in town. The restaurant was ready for us and prepared us a lovely table. Every dish was delicious! The wine list was impressive. Our kids mainly ate cheese and meat boards but absolutely loved them. The presentation for the steak was fantastic! Definitely recommend you visit if you are in Bordeaux!

Great location and a fun atmosphere, especially with the speakeasy hidden in the back. We enjoyed the food overall. The starters were tasty, and the highlight was definitely the T-bone steak, which was finished at the table and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but the service was unfortunately quite slow throughout the evening. We never received plates for our shared appetisers, and by the time we might have ordered dessert, we decided to skip it due to the wait. Overall, a nice dining experience with excellent food and a good setting, though the service could be more attentive and efficient.

This is the absolute best restaurant I visited during my month-long trip to France, even after trying several famous course-menu spots and Michelin-starred restaurants. We initially ordered just two starters, but we were so blown away by the flavors that we ended up ordering every single starter on the menu plus two mains. Every dish was incredibly creative, beautifully balanced, and bursting with flavor. Despite using a diverse range of ingredients sourced from both Eastern and Western countries, not a single flavor clashed or felt out of place. Everything was so harmonious that we couldn’t stop marveling with every single bite. The foie gras was the best I’ve had in my entire life. The dishes were completely different from the ones I saw in a review posted just a few weeks ago. Reading other reviews, it seems the menu changes very frequently. I was truly in awe of the chef's genius—how can someone constantly create such top-tier, innovative dishes? I went with the wine pairing, while my friend ordered several cocktails. The cocktails were unlike anything we’ve ever tasted before, and the balance of aromas was insane. I can confidently say this was the best restaurant and cocktail experience of my life.Our stay in Bordeaux was too short to visit a second time, which was a huge pity. If I ever visit France again, I will absolutely return to Bordeaux just for this restaurant.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Bordeaux. Food is always delicious and the staff is super accommodating and friendly. Great cocktails! Highly recommend.

For cocktails, we had a Zombie, which was extremely good, with a small shot of alcohol served in a passion fruit shell, almost "on fire." We also had another cocktail whose name I unfortunately forget, with a hint of herbs/plants, also very good—you should try it. As for the main courses, I remember the beef tartare with satay, which was extremely good, served with sweet potato chips and a garden herb mayonnaise. I highly recommend it. For dessert, I had a coffee dessert with small pieces of coffee, which was extremely good, as well as a chocolate whisky tart, which was a pleasant change from classic chocolate tarts (hazelnut or otherwise). My only complaint is the wait, which was a bit too long. Apart from that, it's really worth a visit and a discovery; the dishes are out of the ordinary. I recommend it.
