Pranzo in quattro amici, purtroppo lunga attesa perché il proprietario è pressoché da solo a gestire tutti i tavoli. Buoni i cannelloni al brocciu e lo stinco di agnello, un po’ scarsa la quantità di charcuterie e di beignet al brocciu , nemmeno due a testa. Da riprovare fuori stagione turistica perche’ la qualità del cibo era buona e forse con meno gente il servizio è migliore.
18/09/2024: An absolute must-see. The restaurant's atmosphere and appearance alone make it worth a visit! The owners are very friendly and speak English and French. The food arrived quickly, looked stunning, and tasted fantastic. The portions were also very generous. Most of the dishes were made with local produce. Lunches ranged in price from €16 to €28. The chocolate mousse for €9 was also a treat, and the espresso for €1.50 was also very good. The restaurant was recommended to us by our guidebook, and we can definitely recommend it.
12/09/2024: The Auberge, located at an altitude of 1,100 meters, is a true hidden gem in the heart of the Balagne region. Perched between two valleys, it offers breathtaking views of Île Rousse on one side and the majestic Corsican mountains on the other.
From the moment we arrived, we were transported to a warm and welcoming Alpine chalet atmosphere. The cuisine is typically Corsican and entirely homemade, making each dish even more delicious. The bread, wine, and desserts are simply excellent.
This is a must-see for anyone visiting the region. I highly recommend stopping here to enjoy an authentic culinary experience in an idyllic setting. A wonderful discovery in the Balagne region!
