We had a wonderful time last night at La Toscane. The welcome was incredibly friendly; I hadn't been back since the previous owner. The dish was excellent (tagliatelle with small scallops), and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I highly recommend it, and we will definitely be back.

We arrived without a reservation and the bartender's welcome was cold, but they did find us a table! The servers are friendly, and the service is quick. The portions are generous, and the veal Milanese is good, though not exceptional. The atmosphere, however, is a little awkward: the woman who seems to be the owner is quite aggressive with the customers, especially a group of five with a child, whom she suggested leave rather than let the child be underfoot. It's strange to hear that. Furthermore, a customer was speaking very loudly and disturbing the neighboring tables, and even though I know it's not always easy in these situations, the owner, who felt entitled to scold a busy family, didn't reprimand this man who was bothering everyone. In short, not very pleasant!

We had a wonderful evening with friends. The pizzas are excellent, quality products. The welcome was great with a little candle to celebrate my birthday🥳. A nice place in Metz.

Great atmosphere, very welcoming staff and owner Nothing to say about the top-notch cuisine

We've been coming to this restaurant for many years, but since the change of ownership, the experience hasn't been the same. The food remains good (we often order the same dishes, which are always a success) and the waitress is very friendly. On the other hand, the atmosphere has become very unpleasant. The owner speaks rudely to her employees in front of customers, and we've even witnessed scores being settled in the kitchen during service. If there are problems to be resolved, it should be done outside of service, once the restaurant is closed, and not in front of customers. It makes everyone uncomfortable. The wait is also very long every time we visit, and some prices seem excessive (€11 for a quarter of rosé!). It's a shame, because the food is good, but the atmosphere and the management's attitude completely spoil the experience.
