It had been a long time since I'd stopped at La Toute Petite Auberge in Vosne-Romanée, and the place remains as charming as ever. The setting is magnificent, with the feeling of having lunch in a veranda overlooking a small pond – very pleasant. The welcome is warm and professional. The owner is friendly, and the service is excellent. Special mention goes to the Mauritian waiter, who was particularly kind and attentive. We chose the set menu for €30, with dishes that were generally very well done. However, my pork cheeks were much too salty. I mentioned it to the waiter, who passed the information on to the kitchen. Unfortunately, there was no response from management… and certainly no gesture of goodwill. This is exactly the kind of situation where simply offering coffee would have been appreciated and would have shown genuine consideration for the customer. It's all the more regrettable because the establishment has everything going for it. Despite this, the place remains pleasant and is well worth a visit. We will return, hoping for a perfect experience next time.

We had a wonderful time. The food, regional dishes, was excellent. Superb selection of Burgundy wines. And a visit to the shop where we discovered a very nice selection of wines! If you are a foodie, love wine, and want to discover some great things, this is the place for you.

We went to eat at the restaurant La Petite Auberge as a couple. The setting is very beautiful and the staff attentive. However, we were a little disappointed with the food. The cuisine is good, the main courses (meat, fish, etc.) are of high quality, but the side dishes are not up to par. For example, the fries and vegetables were frozen. We therefore felt that the price was far too high. Starter, main course, dessert, one aperitif each, and one bottle of wine for 160 euros.

A truly excellent experience today thanks to our Smartbox voucher. We were treated like "real customers," which isn't often the case with gift vouchers. The food, service, and location were all top-notch. I highly recommend it. Well done!
