Came into Port-Vendres for the last 3 days of our vacation. Cold rainy weather had us run into the closest restaurant to escape. Fortunately it was La Tramontane! Food and service were excellent! We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day for Valentines dinner. Pâté and Carpaccio St Jacques for appetizers, and the sole and entrecôte for mains. Outstanding meals! Might end up there tonight🤷♂️

As a long-time customer of La Tramontane, I realize I've never left a review! Everything is great: the welcome, the service, and the food. They offer a selection of teas or gourmet coffees to share when you're full... but still craving a little dessert 😋. The portions are generous.

Just another break?
That's what I thought, but no.
I wasn't sure if I was in the right place, but after the appetizer, I knew. The food was good, really, and the service was excellent.
I appreciated the personal touch and the high quality.
I recommend it.

Homemade food, fantastic, not to be missed! The owners are friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. The lunch menu is excellent, with a daily special that changes regularly.
The tiramisu is especially recommended.

We arrived at 1:45 pm after a long hike, and they welcomed us and our dog for lunch. We received a very warm welcome, and our dog even got some treats. We enjoyed a delicious meal—generous portions and homemade food. We'll gladly return!

You can go there without hesitation. Excellent value for money... it's almost too expensive for the quality of the food (the chef is very good).
