A welcoming arrival with no waiting. We appreciated the complimentary surprise starter. A special shout-out to Paul, who was very kind and knew all the menus by heart, though he spoke a little too fast for our liking. Thank you to the chef for the superb demonstration of "tagliatelle alla trattoria" pasta, which we highly recommend, showcasing his Parmesan cheese expertise. Also, thank you to Paul for not hesitating to put a candle on the tiramisu for my birthday, and to the very cheerful lady who sang. One small drawback, however: the "gourmet teas" weren't gourmet at all; there were five tiny cakes, probably frozen, and the brownie was the size of a very small spoon.

You have to like Italian food, but if you do, go for it! It's extremely good, generously portioned, nothing to complain about! Except that thinking about it makes me want to go back.

Ristorente torretti pizzeria

02/12/2025: For me, this is the best pizzeria in Caen! I'm not usually a big pizza fan, but this... The wood-fired oven makes all the difference. The crust is delicious, and the choice of base (tomato, cream, pesto) is fantastic. I especially loved the four-cheese and the Andria. Finish with the tiramisu; it's amazing. The staff is lovely, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it 100%!
