If you're passing through Honfleur, make a stop at La Trinquette: the duck breast with orange and ginger is delicious, and the crêpes are just as worthwhile. The place is warm and the welcome is friendly!

Honestly, the pancakes are really good and very generous. My husband had the andouille and apple calavados pancake, which was delicious, and I had the cheese pancake, just delicious.

A generous and authentic restaurant! At La Trinquette, the dishes are generous, hearty, and delicious. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity served. While the welcome may seem reserved for peak hours, just take the time to chat with the servers or the owner outside of busy times and you'll find them approachable and friendly. I'm actually surprised to read some negative reviews, because our experience was very pleasant.

Personally, I was able to order a chicken for €19, but for that amount I only got the thigh, a little salad, and fries. The quantity for the price is disappointing. Order the galettes, which are more substantial.

25/01/2026: Excellent meal (the fries, the whole sea bass which was superb – although quite bony – the cooking and taste were perfect). Every member of staff was attentive and very pleasant! I highly recommend it!
