The food is excellent and beautifully presented for each dish, the waitstaff are efficient and pleasant, the price is reasonable, the location is right in the city centre, very close to the Cité de la Langue Française... we highly recommend it!

A delightful discovery! We came on Thursday evening, May 28th, and everything was excellent: fresh, homemade food, and the staff were incredibly kind. We will definitely be back.

There are places where you immediately feel a real soul. ✨ My friends and I loved discovering La Tulipe and Le Café d’Alexandre. Beyond the quality of the products and dishes, which we truly enjoyed, we especially loved meeting Jérôme: a passionate, dedicated manager deeply attached to his region. And here, everything has meaning. The name “La Tulipe” echoes the story of Alexandre Dumas and the famous inn featured in his stories, while “Le Café d’Alexandre,” in the heart of the Cité internationale de la langue française (International City of the French Language), pays homage to one of the greatest French writers, born in Villers-Cotterêts. A beautiful way to bring gastronomy, heritage, and local history to life. Establishments like these truly deserve to be discovered and supported. 👏

This is a great place. The decor is chic and minimalist. The service is adequate. But the best part is the food: the presentation is sublime, the dishes are high-quality and very flavorful. The prices are reasonable. Really very good. 17/20
