La vache sur le toit sur Gujan-Mestras

We had the sweetbreads and lamb shanks as a main course. They were brought to us barely hot even though our aperitif cocktails had been served to us a few minutes earlier... Forced to rush to finish the aperitif for fear of eating cold. The waitress had forgotten to note the bottle of wine ordered for the dish. We asked another server to bring it to us because we didn't want to drink red wine with dessert... Thanks to the server who reacted quickly. On the other hand, hearing the waitress cross the room saying a little loudly "I'm too stupid! But I'm really too stupid!" , it calls out and it's not very professional, even if she seemed very nice. A little expensive for the quality and the cooked dishes are not that elaborate (for example the meat accompaniments)

Contrary to the reviews of "Phi Lou", I recommend the cuisine of this restaurant. We came on Saturday March 16th in the evening. The products are fresh and very good. I had a piece of rump steak with fries. The fries are really very good and especially homemade! Maxence and Thibau

My friend Dimitri often told me about his suckling pig so I tried it... I wasn't disappointed, I enjoyed it 😚 the hot goat's cheese salad was very good too, just the Tiramisu with Nutella that I didn't really like... In any case, Gujan-Mestras is a pretty, very quiet town, it's relaxing!

Welcome ok, nothing more. The pizza was excellent. The staff ok.

This wonderful family-run restaurant was introduced to us by our local friend, Bruno, when we visited Gujan Mestras. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and a menu that delighted everyone in our group (including a vegetarian a discerning 11-year-old). The lamb (souris d’agneau) and duck entrees were amazing, as were the mussels (moule roquefort) appetizer. Great wine and drinks selection. And don’t miss the desserts - especially the crème-brûlée. The staff were welcoming and attentive and we received wonderful service. It was one of favorite meals of our travels in the Bordeaux region. Plenty of parking, comfortable seating and inviting atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Fantastic place! Inspired chef, fabulous staff, such a great place to enjoy your evening. Food is excellent, drinks selection good and the staff make it an enjoyable experience to remember.
