La Vague d'or sur La Seyne-Sur-Mer

I've never eaten at La Vague d'Or. However, I used to go there often for breakfast. It was very good. I didn't consider going to the other cafes/restaurants nearby. Since it reopened, it's different. I find the price difference with the other restaurants is no longer justified by the quantity/quality of the food. It's still good, but not very good anymore.

Hello, I went there in the early afternoon with my son to enjoy a crêpe and a waffle. I should mention that I had called the day before to ask if it was possible to order a crêpe and a waffle at that time, and the young woman I spoke to said there was no problem. When we informed the waiter that we were there for a crêpe and a waffle, he ushered us into the semi-open veranda. After waiting for half an hour, we left because no one came to take our order. I should also mention that in the past month, I have been to La Vague d'Or for lunch twice, breakfast twice, and this time we were there for an afternoon snack. All customers, whether regulars or newcomers, should be welcomed as if it were their first time (with the same care and attention), regardless of what they order.

The food was excellent and beautifully presented, with a refined touch. Friendly waiter. Beautiful setting.

We went there for dinner. Glad we hab a reservation, the restaurant was packed. Food was great. I hat 3 courses, Fish soup, Entrecoat, and Gapefruit terine. I enjoyed a lot, would absolutely recommend. The setting right in front of the beach is beautiful too.

Ah, La Vague d'Or... a lovely meal with my best friend Adrien. The sea as a backdrop, staff as charming as they were funny, and the invaluable company of my friend. We'll be back, that's for sure!

The setting was very pleasant with a sea view. However, there was a definite lack of professionalism: the aioli was served without cod… even though it was the daily special! Although we were "compensated" with a gesture of goodwill, we would have appreciated it if the waitress had apologized for the mistake rather than simply putting a bill on the table and turning on her heel!
