La Vague d'or sur La Seyne-Sur-Mer

The welcome was icy and unpleasant beyond belief; we clearly felt like we were intruding from the moment we arrived. To top it all off, we were seated under trees that were dripping sap, which completely stained our clothes. When we pointed this out, there was no apology or gesture of goodwill: we were simply told disdainfully that "it's nature," without anyone bothering to warn us when we were settling in. This lack of professionalism and respect for the customer is unacceptable.

A fantastic time! Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was excellent, friendly, and always with a smile 😊👏 We received a truly warm welcome. And as a lovely touch, our drinks were even on the house! 🥰 Thank you to the whole team for such great service, we'll definitely be back!

The golden wave has become the bronze wave! It's a shame, the location remains superb, facing the Deux Frères, but the attentive and slightly chic service is completely gone. Just a few years ago, it was a must-visit in Les Sablettes; now it's just another restaurant, many of which will offer you a better experience.

Years go by, and since its closure, this restaurant is no longer one I would recommend. A team of inexperienced waiters creates chaos after the reservation. It's canceled even though you're there. A ribeye steak for €42 without a steak knife, the same for the sea bream. The table was missing cutlery. A wine for €36 served warm, etc., etc., etc. I had been a loyal customer for a very long time. That's it; I won't be going back to this restaurant.

A quality restaurant on the Sablettes seafront in La Seyne-sur-Mer. We had dinner as a party of four and it was excellent! Special mention for the lamb burger; the meat was delicious! Thank you to the team for accommodating our request to reserve a table with a sea view. A big thank you to Cédric for his excellent service, his smile, and his professionalism. We will gladly return and highly recommend it!

We've been to La Vague d'Or with different owners... for our first visit with this owner, we went as a family on a weekday evening without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome; all the servers were attentive and kind (my little girl has food allergies). Les Sablettes was very busy that evening, even though there were no special events other than the night market. All the outdoor tables were occupied, which I suppose explains the rather slow service (however, the children's meal was served more quickly 👍). We ordered gourmet coffees, but we had to ask for the coffee. (I suggest placing the coffee cup on the plate of petits fours; it will avoid this kind of inconvenience 😉). The prices are reasonable for the quality of service, especially compared to Marvivo's restaurants in St. Elme. The dishes are delicious, particularly the ruby ​​watermelon. All the best... We'll definitely see you again 🤩

A very pleasant view of the sea and the beach. The cuisine is refined without being overdone. Very well executed, therefore very good. And a team dedicated to the customer and therefore friendly. I will be back.
