La Valouse sur Orgelet

We stopped at this hotel somewhat by chance, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and funny. The waiter who looked after us throughout our meal is named Brice, and he deserves a gold medal for waiters! He kept us laughing during every meal, was very helpful, joked around with the children, etc. And I also want to thank the amazing chef(s) who prepared delicious dishes worthy of fine dining restaurants at reasonable prices. Everything went well; in fact, we returned to this hotel for our return trip and wouldn't hesitate to come back if the opportunity arises.

An unexpected stop on the journey left me with no choice of hotel. But what a pleasant surprise! The hotel was charming, the room lovely and very comfortable. The welcome was warm. I ate at the restaurant, which was very good and reasonably priced. I had stayed at an Ibis the night before; this hotel wasn't much more expensive, but the experience was significantly better.

We spent one night at the hotel; the setting was lovely, the bedding comfortable, and the room clean. We had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant for Valentine's Day, and the service was very friendly, especially from Brice! We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the perfect truffle egg, the morel mushroom tart, the perch fillets, and above all, the excellent and generous rum baba! All accompanied by a glass of Vin Jaune from the Jura region :-)

Having lived in Moirans or been a regular visitor, we were already familiar with the restaurant. We celebrated our mother's, grandmother's, and great-grandmother's 100th birthdays there, and there were 21 of us. After exchanging emails, we made a reservation for January 31st. We received a warm welcome. The dishes were delicious and delighted our palates. We thank all the members of the restaurant team for their hospitality and for putting up with us for nearly five hours. As we were leaving, they mentioned they were preparing dinner. An incredible and delightful surprise along the way! The setting is very pretty, a bit bourgeois, or rather, refined. My partner had the Comtois burger, and I had the andouillette sausage… It was absolutely delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it! The two dishes, a carafe of rosé, and two coffees for under 60 euros. We'll be back, and we'll stay at the hotel to make the most of our visit. The waitress and waiter were very professional. Thank you!

While passing through the Jura region, we had lunch on October 4th at this little restaurant, which we found by chance! Delicious and generous. Lucille's service was warm and attentive. I highly recommend it!
