La Verdoyante sur Gassin

A wonderful place, a pleasant terrace and a selection of dishes with exquisite flavors. The atmosphere is relaxed and chic and the staff are attentive and always attentive. We love coming back every year.

Been coming here occasionally for many years. Enjoy the beautiful location, the pleasant atmosphere and the friendly service every time. Not cheap and you become more critical. After our visit, we often have to admit that we actually expected a little more quality from the dishes and the layout. Ample parking. All in all a successful lunch

Lovely setting but at €63 for a 3 course set lunch it proved far too expensive for the level of cooking at this charming place. The crab avocado starter for example does not look like the refined dish you see in the “photos” - it was piled onto a tiny plate with a small portion of crab on one half of the avocado and a forgettable crumble sitting on top of the other half. And a few drops of balsamico. The molleux chocolate tart proved to be more crusty than moelleux - presented again on a tiny tiny tart dish. Main course sea bass was served on a plate no more than 18cm in diameter. Not sure why they love small plates … It does have a lovely terrace with a terrific view of the sea, the maitre’d is charming and the restaurant is very dog friendly.

Thank you for this excellent meal, excellent service, we felt very comfortable with you! The food was worth every penny.

Exceptional french food (Rossini worth the €20 extra) with an amazing view from the hills of Gassin on the neighbouring vineyards. The service was top notch and the owners were very friendly. We asked for some olive oil recommendations and they gave us a tasting session of a few to try.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Food is amazing and the area is incredibly beautiful. You must visit if you are around.

We have been here on a sunday evening with a perfect summer sunset. The very warm reception by 'la patronne' and the selection of our table was perfect. The serviceteam was super friendly and very professionel. We did take the 3course Menue which can be recomnended in each course - as well as the Pampelonne rosé wine. A small point we like to make, a selection of tapenade would have been a nice add on to the perfectly baked bread. We will come back.

Cadre exceptionnel avec une vue magnifique. Comme toujours le service est bien. Quant à la nourriture : produits de qualité très bien travaillés, de beaux plats qui sont délicieux. Seul bémol : nous avons dû demander deux fois au serveur l'addition, la première fois il nous a clairement oublié, la seconde sa collègue nous a entendu aussi et donc nous avons eu l'addition au bout de 20 minutes.
