La Vigne d'Adam sur Plappeville

A lovely evening with friends in this great restaurant.

On the terrace in a charming village, the welcome was warm. While the fish dish was very tasty, the same could not be said for the rabbit dish—a huge disappointment. It was mushy and tasteless, and yet it was supposed to contain chorizo, which would have given it some spice, but no, frankly, they need to change the recipe. The value for money is poor. €14 for desserts (two strawberries cut into quarters, a few crushed biscuits, asparagus drops, a quenelle of strawberry ice cream...) and €16 for the double pastis lorrain is a bit pricey. It's a shame; they could do better... it would be worth it.

The place is intimate and cozy, the food excellent, and the service very pleasant. A gem!

There were four of us, and it was a truly wonderful meal, full of finesse and expertise. The service, while relaxed, was efficient and precise, perfectly complemented the menu. It was the simplest menu option, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent value for money, and as always, the wine recommendations (Champagne and Roussette de Savoie) were much appreciated. Thank you for this lovely experience.

I'm giving it 3 stars by default: the kitchen was closed due to a breakdown. The restaurant staff took the trouble to call us to cancel the reservation.

We had a very pleasant evening at this restaurant. While the ingredients are high quality, the price is high, especially considering the very limited selection (only two desserts, for example). It's a shame there's no aperitif or wine-by-the-glass menu.

Always a first-rate experience. Inventive cuisine combining harmonious flavors, perfect cooking, original textures, and beautiful presentation. The spring menu was truly superb. Perfect food and wine pairings. Discreet, helpful, and friendly service. We will definitely return.
