We tried beef tartar, fries, chicken tenders. Drank 2 cocktails, place was affordable, the staff was really cool with us, and it was almost the only place that still serves food after 22:00. Would not recommend for the food, but the place is nice and it's still edible.

Returning to a restaurant after several months always comes with a bit of apprehension. Will it be as good as you remember? ​Villa d’Isa did not disappoint. The atmosphere was just as warm and welcoming as ever, with a pleasant mix of new faces and the familiar smiles of long-time staff. The food was, as always, délicieuse and wonderfully fresh. ​It remains a top recommendation if you find yourself near the Libération market.

Stopped for a quick coffee with the ball and chain, ended up adoring it so much we couldn’t resist a little Heineken and light snacks! Service friendly and warm, coffee so delicious it came with a caramel drizzle! Amazeballs

24/05/2026: Beautiful brasserie, completely renovated, with friendly and enjoyable cuisine! Excellent non-stop service, attentive waiters! Just steps from the Promenade, I highly recommend it!
20/05/2026: Wonderful place, the service was excellent despite the language barrier. I would definitely return for their delicious truffle pizza 😍.

14/06/2026: Went for lunch and had an excellent experience. Although not fluent in French, the staff was attentive and talked in English to facilitate the process which was appreciated. The gnocchi’s one of the best I’ve had which was accompanied by a light salad. The other dishes we tried was the Risotto which was very good as well. Overall a great experience. We will try other dishes soon
09/05/2026: A very pleasant bistro with a family atmosphere. The waitress is very friendly, as is the owner, though he can be a bit gruff depending on the day. 🥸 The beef stew was excellent, as was the parsley ham, and the floating island dessert was superb. My only complaint, which prevents me from giving it 5 stars, is that the dishes were a little under-seasoned, and I don't usually eat much salt. Either the chef forgot that day, or customers often ask for less salt. Otherwise, it's excellent for a quick meal in a local setting.
