The atmosphere was pleasant and the service attentive, with smiles and good cheer.
However, from appetizer to dessert, the food was very mediocre.
The appetizers were disappointing, with unbalanced flavors; the main courses were overcooked or masked by an excessive and bitter sauce with a burnt taste, likely due to the meats being poorly pre-cooked over charcoal; and the dessert was tasteless.
The bread, however, was very good, full of delicate and harmonious flavors, which contrasted sharply with the rest of the meal.
For over €40 per person, we expected better.

I thoroughly enjoyed the daily menu, from appetizer to dessert. For me: ham and beef cannelloni, squid risotto, and coffee tiramisu. For my partner: gizzard salad, pork tenderloin in red wine sauce on a sauerkraut-flavored purée, chocolate tiramisu mousse, and homemade four-spice bread. The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is the decor (Update in 2026: I've been back, and even the decor is now very tasteful). Thank you.

Unfortunately, based on the prices listed on the menu, the bill turned out to be higher than expected due to additional charges that the waitress didn't mention. We ended up with €18 in unexpected extras. The food is very good, but it would be important to be much clearer and more transparent about these extras, as an additional €18 really makes the basic dish seem almost bare. This is something to reconsider, taking care not to put other customers in this situation.

Lunchtime, January 30th. No set menu for the week. The main courses: guinea fowl and pollack were excellent, not to say divine. When culinary artistry shines through and tantalizes our taste buds.
We regret the absence of amuse-bouches with the aperitif, such as a small coffee biscuit.
The Burgundy lacked maturity. Worth revisiting.

We walked past this restaurant every day, telling ourselves we'd have to go in one day... And we finally did, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, which were excellent and subtle. A big thank you to the chef and his waitress. We'll be back very soon. See you soon.
