La Villatara sur Trouville-Sur-Mer

Nice setting, but don't order the panini as a snack... I was expecting pieces of curried chicken... Instead, I got a bland slice of chicken breast... and I'm still looking for the curry. It's definitely mass-produced and frozen. The live band in the evening is quite noisy.

I find it a bit presumptuous to ask for a tip, yes or no? It's very intimidating, I don't like it... it should be done spontaneously.

While in Deauville for my son's 18th birthday, we set our sights on this restaurant inside the Trouville casino. Disappointed at first because several items on the menu were no longer available, the very friendly waitress offered us good alternatives that made up for this small problem. Thanks to her, we had a wonderful evening during which two very good singers performed in the restaurant. At the waitress's request, they sang a song for my son's birthday. A wonderful surprise at the Villatéra restaurant at the Casino Barrière in Trouville-sur-Mer! The elegant setting and sea view immediately set the mood. I particularly appreciated the perfect pairing of the terrine as a starter, the beef tartare as a main course, and the glass of Saint-Émilion AOP: a beautiful harmony of flavors, both refined and generous. The service was seamless and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell everything has been designed to ensure a pleasant experience, in a chic yet relaxed atmosphere. A great place for a relaxing lunch or dinner after a stroll on the beach or a game at the casino. I highly recommend it!

After a disappointing first experience at the end of 2022, we came back and really enjoyed our meal, the dishes are good and the waitress is very pleasant.
