26/04/2026: We were in Trouville, unsure where to eat, and as we passed by Marinette Sylvain's restaurant, the waiter told us a joke, which made us want to go in. Everything was perfect: perfect service, perfect meal. Perfect, we'll be back.

11/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Régence. We had a delightful time. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food delicious. The chef, a true master of sauces, perfectly enhances the dishes with refined and flavorful sauces. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in the cooking. And for lovers of gastronomy and art, the dining room is magnificent, with an elegant and charming ambiance that makes the experience even more enjoyable. A truly wonderful restaurant in Trouville-sur-Mer that we will gladly return to.

09/05/2026: The food was decent (whelks and periwinkles were unseasoned but the mayonnaise was good, and the langoustines were slightly overcooked), the seafood was very fresh, and the dishes were decent, classic and well-made, without any surprises. We were expecting a quiet atmosphere, but unfortunately, the dining room was very noisy with a group that prompted us to skip dessert and leave. We were a little disappointed because there seemed to be a lack of creativity in the cuisine, except perhaps for the lobster gratin, which was good.

23/05/2026: It was late January, for my birthday. The bar was empty. There were eight of us around 6:30 pm for drinks. She refused us with disdain, saying she doesn't take more than six people. We suggested splitting into two tables of four and that we weren't in any hurry. She wouldn't accept. Appalling service. RESPONSE: That's great, I got a reaction out of you, I'm happy! We tried to talk to you to understand, but you were so dismissive! Hatred is contagious.

27/05/2026: Some rooms are best avoided; the air conditioning barely works, or doesn't work at all. I tried two rooms, and the problem was the same! Perhaps the sea-view rooms don't have this issue, but given the prices in high season, I don't think I'd risk trying them. It's a shame because it's very well located. It has great potential, but in my opinion, it doesn't live up to the 5-star standards of the region, which I won't mention. Please, this hotel deserves better. You don't give a room to a couple if the entire floor is full of children; it's just common sense! We leave our children to rest and sleep, not to be woken up at 3 a.m. by crying...🤦‍♂️

26/05/2026: We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Cures Marines, and we had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are comfortable and spacious, perfectly located, very quiet and calm and we were lucky to enjoy sunny and warm weather during our stay. The spa and fitness facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious — with a great selection including chia seeds, brown bread, fresh fruits and veggies, and homemade fresh juices, which I particularly loved. A special thank you to Thea, the front desk team, and all the staff for their warm welcome and personalised service. A special mention as well to Micka, the sports manager, for his professionalism and friendliness. Keep on shining guys!!!!! Highly reccommended— we'll be back, best hotel in Trouville!

01/07/2026: I went there this morning for brunch, and I'm so glad I did! The welcome was very warm; the two ladies who greeted me were so kind. The quality and quantity of the food were perfect! A special mention for the decor—it's absolutely stunning, cozy yet modern, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend going there without hesitation; trust me!

27/05/2026: Super fresh seafood practically straight from the boat. However, the prices weren't as older reviews suggested. The two of us ordered a shellfish platter (without lobster or oysters) and, including a glass of wine each, ended up paying €140.

27/06/2026: This place is officially the worst crêperie in the entire region. Zero business sense, zero hospitality. We went there with two young children and a reservation. Fifty-five minutes passed between our arrival and when we finally received our galettes. No one informed us of the delay. The restaurant was objectively overwhelmed, and it wasn't the fault of the waitress or the cooks. However, the communication was catastrophic: no apology, no gesture of goodwill, not even a smile. We were truly shocked by the lack of consideration. There are plenty of excellent crêperies in the area. Treat yourself elsewhere, but absolutely avoid this one.

08/06/2026: Very disappointed. I went to this establishment a few years ago and recommended it to everyone I knew because I thought it was delicious, but a few days ago I went back with my family. The service and the quality are no longer there. The waitress was very curt, and if you tried to talk to her, she seemed annoyed. The galettes are very thin and not as full as they used to be. For €13 each, you only get the visible part, which looks well-filled, but it's a rip-off... the rest of the galette is empty. I ordered a children's menu with two ingredients, and my son chose ham and ham... I can tell you that if there was half a slice of ham inside, that would be good, but there wasn't. The syrup served to my son with the meal was colored water. We asked for a little more syrup, and the waitress responded with a smirk, adding a little more without really improving the taste. In total, one adult and one child paid €42 (including the Nutella crepe to go). I'm very disappointed by this restaurant, which is clearly living off its past reputation. I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know. Avoid this restaurant.

14/07/2026: The welcome was very good, but the mussels marinière were tiny, with many empty shells in the pot and a lack of flavor. Looking at the plates of customers seated on the terrace of a nearby restaurant, the mussels were much larger. We regretted our choice... even though, I repeat, the welcome was perfect.

01/07/2026: The seafood was fresh. The service was very fast. The staff was nice. However, the dipping sauce wasn't spicy enough; you'll need to bring your own. If you like spicy food, this is the place for you. The oysters were incredibly fresh and the price was good. The crab claws looked delicious too. They even filled the wine glass to the brim!

28/06/2026: A scandal. I will never go back to this restaurant. My grandmother became ill after eating their shellfish and ended up in the emergency room. We called the restaurant to find out what had happened, and they themselves told us that their shellfish were kept for up to 8 days in the refrigerator. If you're thinking of trying this restaurant, I strongly advise against it. Given the prices they charge, I find this situation completely unacceptable.

16/06/2026: Very disappointed with the food. The salmon was overcooked and completely tasteless. The "seasonal vegetables" were just spinach, which was utterly uninteresting. The entire dish lacked flavor and seemed to be made from frozen ingredients. As for the chicken cutlet, it was more like a small chicken leg served with fries that were probably also frozen and dripping with oil. In short, I could have cooked much better at home; it makes you wonder if professionals are even working in the kitchen. The value for money is very poor, and the price is hard to justify. The only positive point was the service, provided by pleasant and professional waitresses.
