We had a great meal at this restaurant as a family. Good value for money with a lovely view of the harbor.

5 stars because the service was great, the food too and truly homemade. The homemade fries were visible and the shallot sauce deglazed with what I think was beer was a treat. We did not regret choosing this restaurant on the harbor.

We came as a group (28 people) and had a great meal, both young and old, by reservation. The waiter was incredibly kind and had a great sense of humor. If you're ever in La Rochelle, don't hesitate.

Super good restaurant on the edge of the port, I had the menu of the day, with a very good fillet of sea bream, and a delicious cheesecake too, the quality-price ratio is reasonable.

We had a lovely time; we ordered the marinière menu with mussels in our choice of sauce, a glass of wine, and dessert. It was excellent, and the view of the harbor was perfect.

23/02/2026: Le Bistrot de Mémé is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious homemade dishes with a warm welcome and excellent service. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food; it was delicious and beautifully presented. The price was also fantastic: a starter, main course, and dessert for €17 – no other restaurant in La Rochelle is that competitive! If I could, I'd go every week 😍 but unfortunately, I live over an hour away. In any case, I 100% recommend this restaurant. Another bonus was that we parked just a few meters away, and the parking was free. In short, everything was perfect from start to finish ❤️❤️❤️
